WHAT WE COLLECT
When you book, we collect your name, contact details, driver's licence, ID or passport, and payment information. When you browse, we collect anonymised usage data via analytics — page views, session length, referrer. Nothing personally identifiable unless you give it to us.
WHY WE COLLECT IT
To process your booking, verify your licence, take payment, and reach you if plans change. Analytics helps us improve the site. That's it. We don't sell your data to third parties, ever.
WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
Payment processors (for the transaction), insurance providers (for the vehicle cover), and roadside assistance (if you need it). Nothing else, no advertisers, no marketers.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Booking records for 5 years (tax + insurance compliance). Marketing consent, only while you're opted in. Delete-your-data requests actioned within 30 days — email us.
YOUR RIGHTS UNDER POPIA
You can request the data we hold on you, correct anything wrong, ask us to delete it, or object to processing. Email info@roveadventures.co.za with "POPIA request" in the subject.
